Scolari ready to go bargain shopping

Chelsea boss Big Phil Scolari has targeted Emile Heskey, Kenwyne Jones and Kevin Davies for the January transfer window.

Scolari will be forced to make bargain signing after being told that the Blues needs to save money.

It is believed that with a £9million transfer tag, Kenwyne Jones, will be the most expensive of the three players.

A Blues insider told News of the World: “All three are similar players who would give Chelsea a totally different option and that’s something we desperately need.

“Okay, they might not score a lot of goals themselves but they are all a handful and can create havoc in any defence.

“The fact is, the days of big spending are over . . . and they won’t be back for a while.”
