A Borja Perez equaliser saw Kilmarnock snatch a 1-1 draw at Inverness CT in the Scottish Premier League on Wednesday.

Inverness, who are 17 points behind league leaders Celtic in second place, looked on track to secure victory at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium when Nick Ross gave them a 21st-minute lead.

But Perez levelled late on as Kilmarnock moved above Dundee United and into sixth, while Inverness remain second.

The hosts dominated the opening exchanges and got a deserved opener through Ross.

Aaron Doran found space down the left before crossing for Ross, who struck his second goal in as many games from close range.

Inverness continued to control proceedings after going ahead but squandered their opportunities as they chased a second goal.

With a rare chance, Kilmarnock found an equaliser through 66th-minute substitute Perez, the Spaniard finishing a James Dayton cutback to give the visitors an unlikely point.
