Serbian youngster handed City trial

Serbian striker Danijel Aleksic has been handed a week-long trial at Manchester City.

The 18-year-old striker has long been linked with a move to the Premier League side.

Serbian club Vojvodina’s sports director Miodrag Pantelic has confirmed Manchester City’s interest in their talented striker.

“We received an offer from Manchester City  for Aleksic to spend a seven-day trial at their camp and we accepted it,” Pantelic said.

“Further discussions will depend on their impression of the player. We haven’t talk about any possible transfer figure yet.”
