Sevilla are enjoying a strong season in La Liga, with Los Rojiblancos currently fourth in the table after 18 games. They have a game in hand on 3rd-placed Atletico Madrid, which could see the two sides swapping places should Sevilla pick up all three points.

Being in the Champions League again is the big objective for Unai Emery’s men, with Sevilla having fallen short in their last four seasons. It certainly won’t be easy either, as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Valencia are being tipped to fill the gaps by many.

But Sevilla are no slouches either, and have a quality side good enough to finish in the European place. Ladbrokes are giving odds of 11/8 for the La Liga side to end the season in the top-four, meaning they would feature in the Champions League for the new campaign.

The next step for the top-four hopefuls is to try and get a result against elite opposition in the table. Sevilla won’t make ground if they can’t see past one of the big three this season.
