Sevilla back for Aleix Vidal

Estadio Deportivo is reporting that Sevilla are readying a fresh assault on Barcelona full-back Aleix Vidal.

Los Rojiblancos have already added Clement Lenglet and Stevan Jovetic to their ranks, meaning that all 25 places are now occupied, but that does not mean there will be no new signings.

Namely, before he leaves for AS Roma, transfer guru Monchi will attempt to offload several fringe players and make room for new signings.

Salvatore Sirigu, Benoit Tremoulinas and Hiroshi Kiyotake are among those expected to leave and as soon as one of them is through the exit door, los Rojiblancos will make a move on Aleix Vidal.

Brazilian defender Mariano is currently the only option on the right flank, and Sevilla aim to bring back their former star to challenge the 31-year-old for a starting berth.

With Vidal seeing very little action at Camp Nou, los Rojiblancos hope to sign him on loan with an option to buy.
