Sevilla midfielder set for Crystal Palace move

Estadio Deportivo has learned that Crystal Palace have agreed to sign Spanish midfielder Jose Campana from Sevilla.

Los Rojiblancos will earn around €2 million from the sale, while they will be due 20% from the future sale.

Jose Campana will sign a four-year deal with the Premier League side later today, subject to passing a medical.

The 20-year-old has rejected a new contract offer from Sevilla and opted to accept a lucrative proposal from the newly promoted side instead.

Campana has spent his entire career at Stadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, making a total of 20 La Liga appearances for los Rojiblancos.

He has represented Spain at various youth levels and was a part of the squad that were eliminated in the quarter-finals at the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey.

Having only made five league appearances for the club last season, Campana decided to leave Sevilla in search of first team football.
