Sevilla to complete permanent deal for Roque Mesa

El Desmarque understands that Sevilla are looking to trigger a buy-out clause for Swansea City midfielder Roque Mesa.

Despite only making 6 La Liga appearances since arriving on loan in January, the 28-year-old seems to have done enough to earn a permanent contract.

According to El Desmarque, Sevilla are ready to activate an €8m buy-out clause, whereas the total fee could rise to €10m.

Roque Mesa had previously impressed at Las Palmas, but he failed to prove his worth in 11 Premier League outings.

Having started two of Sevilla’s last three league fixtures, the central midfielder is clearly in the plans of head coach Joaquin Caparros for next season.
