Sevilla wrap up Clement Lenglet deal

Spanish hot-shots Sevilla have been following Nancy starlet Clement Lenglet for quite some time and, according to reports from AS, Rojiblancos have finally got their man in the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old centre-back has reportedly signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the La Liga outfit, who paid €5 million for the transfer of the Ligue 1 youngster.

Lenglet first came to prominence two years ago, when he seized his chance at Nancy and it wasn’t too long before Europe’s top clubs came knocking.

Serie A champions Juventus were linked with the French U21 International who made the total of 63 Ligue 1 appearances for Nancy over the past four years.

Clement Lengley was close to leaving Les Chardons during the summer transfer window, but his club were reluctant to let him go which resulted in unsettling the young player.

Still, the youngster was featured regularly at Nancy this season, making 18 starts for his boyhood club.
