Sevilla will have to take on VFB Stuttgart without its striker Alvaro Negredo. The Spanish international misses the visit to Stuttgart because of a heavy cold.

Negredo joined Sevilla from Real Madrid this summer and is a regular starter for the Spanish giants.

Goalkeeper Andres Palo and midfielders Renato and Abdoulay Konko are expected to return to the squad.

Sevilla are well out on top of Group G of the Champions League group stages. Manolo Jimenez`s team have beaten Unirea Urziceni and Glasgow Rangers in their first two matches.

Their German opponents, in contrast, have just two points, having drawn their first two matches.
