London Evening Standard reports that Shakhtar Donetsk are prepared to cash in on star midfielder Willian in the January transfer window.
The Ukrainian club rejected big money offers for the highly rated midfielder from Tottenham and Chelsea in the past, as they didn’t want to part ways with their star player.
However, they seem to have changed their minds after acquiring the services of attacking midfielder Taison from Metalist Kharkiv.
According to London Evening Standard, Shahtar are ready to sell Willian in January, but only if the price is right.
The Miners value the player at £20 million, which doesn’t seem too much for what is truly a world-class player.
Tottenham and Chelsea are expected to reignite their interest in the Brazilian following the recent developments, but few other European giants could join the race as well.
Willian has been especially impressive in team’s Champions League campaign this season, netting 4 times in 6 group games.
