Shanghai SIPG in mega-money bid for Ciro Immobile

In-form Italian striker Ciro Immobile is currently enjoying the best form of his life with the Serie A hot-shots Lazio.

Former Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla forward has been one of the biggest revelations in European football this season having scored 17 goals in all competitions for Aquile.

Europe’s leading goalscorer has attracted plenty of interest from all around the globe and Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Chinese side Shanghai SIPG are keen on landing Immobile during the January transfer window.

The 27-year-old Italy international is a subject of a staggering €70 million bid that Lazio are yet to respond to.

The Chinese side are also willing to double Immobile’s current wages of €3 million but it is believe that Immobile and Lazio will reject such a lucrative offer now that Ciro Immobile has just got back to his best.

Immobile currently stands at 15/8 betting odds to finish the season as Serie A top goalscorer.
