AC Milan defender Thiago Silva has told his friend and fellow Brazilian Joao Miranda to join him at the San Siro.
Silva wants the Rossoneri to sign Miranda even though the club already has six other Brazilians in their squad.
“Miranda is a great friend of mine, we see each other on international duty,†Silva told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“If he were to arrive here I would be really happy. I have spoken with Miranda and I told him that everything is good at Milan.
“In the last two seasons we were the best two defenders in the Brazilian League,†Silva explained. “One year he was voted first and I second and the next year vice versa. We would be a great together.â€Â
