Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone insists his side look to win every game, regardless of where they are playing.
Simeone’s men have not dropped a point at the Vicente Calderon this season, but have managed to win just four games on their travels.
These contrasting figures had led many to question the mentality of the side when they go away from home, but Simeone says they are happy to play anywhere.
“I don’t think we have a preferred place to play. Wherever we are, we look to win the game,” Simeone told reporters.
Simeone also spoke about his side’s clash against Rayo Vallecano, who he believes have become one of the most dangerous sides in La Liga.
“Rayo are always going to be a tough opponent, and it’s clearly going to be a difficult game,” he said.
“They have vastly improved from the start of the season and are now one of the most dangerous teams.”
Atletico are second in La Liga, nine points behind league leaders Barcelona.
