Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said at a press interview in Durban earlier today that Cristiano Ronaldo would be making the biggest mistake of his career were he to move to Real Madrid.
He said that Ronaldo signed a five year contract last year and as far as he was concerned he was expecting him to honour his side of the contract.
Manchester United arrived in Durban today ahead of tomorrows Vodacom Challenge match against Orlando Pirates.
Ronaldo stayed at home and missed out the tour to South Africa as he was recovering from his ankle operation. The winger scored forty two goals for the Red Devils during the 2007/8 season.
