There is a slight possibility that todayÂ’s eagerly awaited clash between Liverpool and Manchester United could mark the surprise return of Cristiano Ronaldo.
While the inclusion may come as a shock to practically all football fans world – wide, it would be no surprise to Sir Alex Ferguson who said late yesterday that he was considering the inclusion of his Portuguese play – making winger in the line up to face Liverpool at Anfield.
According to Sir Alex the twenty four year old Ronaldo has made a full recovery from his ankle injury and operation that was expected to keep him out of football until mid – November.
Sir Alex went on to say on the Manchester United website that Ronaldo had been training with the first team and if it wasnÂ’t in the Anfield clash then it would be next week when he marks his return.
