Snagging Mourinho would cost PSG £30m

French super club PSG have already added a number of superstar players to their squad in the summer, and now the Parisian giants are seeking an equally celebrated manager to lead the star studded team to glory. The man who is being most heavily linked with the job is current Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, but acquiring the Portuguese coach’s services will reportedly cost PSG over £30m, according to the Metro.

Mourinho has had a glittering career as a manager, winning league titles in four different countries and two Champions Leagues. At current club Manchester United the Portuguese tactician has already hauled in two trophies – the League Cup and the Europa League – and the Red Devils are currently sitting in second place in the Premier League table.

Ligue 1 represents one of the major European leagues that has not yet been graced by the brilliance of Mourinho, but PSG have not struggled for success without him. The club have won four league titles since 2012 and have been dominant in the domestic cup competitions.

With the likes of Neymar and Mbappe already in Paris, adding Mourinho to the mix would be a sure fire way to catapult PSG to the top of the footballing pyramid.
