(GSM) – Inter Milan’s medical staff was wrong last week, but tries again this Monday. The doctors predict that Wesley Sneijder will return to match action on Wednesday, when Inter meets Rubin Kazan. The Dutch midfielder has recovered from his thigh injury that kept him out of the last few matches.
Sneijder played his last match for the Nerazzurri on November 8. He missed the top matches against Barcelona and Juventus. Both games were lost by the Italian table topper. Inter boss Jose Mourinho has stated several times that his team missed Sneijder’s input.
It seems like Mourinho will have his playmaker back on his squad on Wednesday when Inter hosts Rubin Kazan for the Champions League. The reigning Russian champions share the same amount of points as the Serie A side. The winner of the mutual clash will advance to the next round.
