Sneijder wants to stay at Inter

(GSM) – Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder plans to spend at least another year at freshly crowned European champions Internazionale.

Media rumors linked Sneijder to a return to Real Madrid, in which case he would likely follow manager Jose Mourinho to the Spanish capital.

But according to the player, this is not the case.

“I am really enjoying myself at Inter,” he told Dutch television. “I had a fantastic year and I won three trophies. Next year we can win another three and I want to be there too.

“Maybe it’ll be a different story after that season, but next year I’ll play at Inter.”
