Snow postpones Northern Ireland match

Northern Ireland’s World Cup qualifier against Russia has been postponed due to heavy snow.

The clash was due to take place on Friday night but has been moved to 3pm on Saturday instead after both country’s Football Associations agreed that the match could not go ahead as initially planned.

The Irish FA tweeted: “The game against Russia has been postponed by the match officials. After agreement between both FAs, the game will be played tomorrow, 3pm.”
