Southampton are coming off a convincing 8-0 win against Sunderland last weekend, and now host Stoke City this afternoon. The Saints have started the campaign in brilliant fashion, with Ronald Koeman’s men having won five of their eight games played so far. They have been impressive at St Mary’s this campaign too, with three wins and a draw from four home games.

Stoke have been in decent form recently too. The Potters have won two and drawn one of their previous four in the Premier League and will provide a challenge for the Saints. City’s away form has been the really worry, however, as Mark Hughes’ men have lost one and drawn two of their four games on their travels.

As a result, Ladbrokes are backing Southampton to get all three points against Stoke City this afternoon. The win could see the Saints go seven in the table depending on other results. Stoke could go above Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United & Arsenal with a victory.
