Competition: Euro 2016
Market: Spain to win Group D
Odds: 4/7 @ William Hill

Spain had a very underwhelming international break, with a makeshift team picking up two draws from as many games in the last week. La Roja are preparing for this summer’s European Champions as defending champions, and are hoping they can breeze through the group stages once more. After 2014’s failure in the World Cup, Spain are desperate to make amends.

The Euro 2008 winners will face Croatia, Czech Republic and Turkey in Group D which won’t necessarily be a walk over. Spain will be tested, but they are also the favourites to top the table to make it into the knockouts as Group winners. Boasting a strong and rejuvenated side, La Roja are among the favourites to go all the way to retain their crown.

Vicente Del Bosque’s men have been in fantastic form prior to their consecutive draws in the last week. Spain have won their previous seven games in all competitions, conceding just one goal for their troubles, and they’re expected to progress as a result. Their competition will make life difficult, but William Hill are giving odds of 4/7 for Spain to win Group D.
