According to reports, Championship side, Charlton, have turned down a 2million euros (£1.5million) offer from Real Betis for 25-year old Madjid Bougherra.
The Algerian defender has only been with the club for 18 months, but has already managed to attract interest from clubs across the continent. Betis is the first club to make a concrete offer.
Most likely, Betis will come back with an improved offer and try to secure a player they think can boost their defensive ranks for next season.
