PSM Makassar’s prolific striker Ilija Spasojevic has rejected an approach from Thai Premier League club Osotspa Saraburi.
The former Bali Devata forward has been linked with a move abroad following some interest from several clubs, including Osotspa.
“Yes, they have contacted my agent Nikola Skrelja, they were interested in me. The bids from Osotpsa are very good, but I want more time with PSM,” Spasojevic told reporters.
The Montenegro-born hitman insisted he wants to develop a career in Indonesia and realise his ambition with Makassar.
“I am 24 years old, and money is not the most important for me. I want to be a legend of PSM Makassar.”
Spasojevic joined his current club from Bali Devata this season, and scored 14 goals in 21 Indonesian Premier League’s appearances.
