San Lorenzo left-back Emmanuel Mas has been linked with a number of clubs who are keen to acquire the services of this 27-year-old defender in January.
According to reports from Portugal daily Ojogo, Emmanuel Mas is being closely followed by the host of European and Mexican clubs.
It is the Portuguese giants Sporting CP however who have emerged as the favourites to land this highly-rated defender once the transfer window reopens in January.
Sporting CP president Bruno de Carvalho is believed to be personally involved in transfer negotiations with San Lorenzo as Lions continue their search for defensive reinforcements.
San Lorenzo are believed to be holding out for €3 million for their man which is the amount Sporting CP are willing to pay to beat the competition to the signature of the 27-year-old left-back.
Emmanuel Mas has made seven Primera Division appearances for San Lorenzo so far in the season, adding one goal to his name.
