Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon will have to do without striker Helder Postiga for both matches with Bayern Munich in the Champions League round of sixteen.
The forward sprained his left knee in Saturday’s Portuguese league clash with Benfica and missed training on Monday. Reportedly, the player is out for at least three weeks.
Postiga is likely to miss the two matches with Bayern, as well as the high-profile league clash with leaders FC Porto.
