Spurs keen on Paul-Georges Ntep

Sunday People is reporting that Tottenham Hotspur are showing interest in Rennes striker Paul-Georges Ntep.

Even if Harry Kane has largely impressed up front this season, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is in the market for attacking reinforcements, with the French forward high on his wish list.

According to the Sunday People, Spurs scouts have been watching the 22-year-old this season and the Premier League side could submit an official proposal in January.

The talented footballer has a contract until June 2017 at Stade de la Route de Lorient, with a reported £3.5 release clause inserted in the deal.

Ntep has already snubbed offers from Europe’s top clubs to sign for Rennes last January, and he has quickly proved his worth in French top flight.

The youngster has so far made 28 league outings for les Bretons and has scored 11 goals in the process, with a big club move now on the cards.
