Spurs linked to Ajax star

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly hot on the trail of Ajax midfielder Daley Blind, London Evening Standard has revealed.

Spurs squad are set to undergo serious changes following yet another disappointing season and the White Hart Lane outfit could make a move on the Netherlands international.

Club scouts have submitted glowing reports on the highly rated footballer having watched him in action on several occasions this season.

Daley Blind, who has also been used as a left-back this season, has a contract until June 2016 at Amsterdam ArenA and is tipped to leave the club for greener pastures.

The 24-year-old has been in fine form for both club and country this term, having started four games for the Netherlands during the 2014 World Cup campaign.

Daley Blind is the son of Ajax legend Danny Blind and he has spent his entire career at the club, with the exception of a six-month loan spell at Groningen.
