Spurs look to finally land Berahino

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make to commit £24m as they look to finally secure a deal for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino, according to the Mail Online.

The forward could be available for a transfer fee of £12m due to his contract status but his wage demands could push that figure up by as much as 100%.

The twenty-two year old has been continuously linked with a move to White Hart Lane over the past few transfers but the Baggies have been able to retain his services.

Since breaking into the West Brom first team, Berahino has racked up one hundred and nine appearances in all competitions, scoring thirty-six goals.

He has received senior international call-ups but is yet to make his debut for Roy Hodgson’s side.

He had however scored ten goals in just eleven appearances for the U21’s after impressive at every level from U16 upwards.
