Standard Liege have won the Belgian top clash with RSC Anderlecht 2-1, after coming back from behind.

After a goalless first half, Yakovenko put Anderlecht in the lead, but Witsel equalised for the home side eight minutes later.

And in the 90th minute, it was Jovanovic to net the winning goal for Standard.

Thanks to this win, Standard take the sole lead in Belgium with sixteen points from six games. Only Excelsior Mouscron could end up sharing that lead after this week’s games.

Anderlecht are now second, at three points from the leaders.
