Stevan Jovetic set for January exit

Inter Milan forward Stevan Jovetic could be sold in the January transfer window, according to Tuttosport.

The Montenegrin joined the Nerazzurri on an 18-month loan deal from Manchester City last summer, but he did not exactly impress in his debut campaign.

As a result, Inter Milan were desperate to offload the player in the summer transfer window, but they failed to do so and will now have to pay €14.5 million for his services.

Namely, an obligatory buy-out clause was triggered as Jovetic made the first appearance in the new season, coming on as a second-half substitute in the 2-1 triumph over Pescara.

However, that does not mean that the striker has a future at Estadio Giuseppe Meazza, seeing that Inter will attempt to cash in on him as early as January.

His former club Fiorentina tried to agree a loan deal for Jovetic few weeks ago and the Nerazzurri can only hope Viola will make another move in the winter.
