Lampard always remains the best with his prolific scoring abilities and skills.and he is the only midfielder who is in the the first six all time epl scorers.gerrard has no individual record.for the fact he has won the champs.leg and lamps has not doesn’t make him better than lamp,cos he has never won the epl either.lamps has been consistent playin 164 consecutive epl matches.and recently he has been awarded the epl player of the decade.lampard stands out tall he is simply the best.’100 AND STILL NOT OUT ALL 4 U.THANK U’.LAMPARD THE BEST EPL PLAYER EVER.

we shd stop this comparison.. Gerard ofcoz is a gud leader nd gat d pace.. And lampard plays wit great players.. But d fact stil remains. They r both gr8 player on and off d pitch..if lampard hapens 2 play 4 liverpool, he wil do dsame..

Hi Although yes Gerrard is a superb player lets face it I dont know if any of you watched lampard in 2009 – 2010 season but he was probably the best player. scored much more goals than gerrard for england and club. Lampard has a much better shot and has more ball skill and football intelligance. Yes gerrard maybe a better leader or captain but if he was a good enough player he would of atleast got liverpool higher than 7th place. He hardly scored any goals and from what I saw of him he was pefetic. 2010 world cup yes Gerrard scored first goal agaisnt USA but im sure lampard could of scored that goal. As statistics on the BBC say! who air football games they say Lampard has better skill and shots. And apart from Gerrards goal at the start of the Cup Lampard has played better over all with some cracking shots with an amazing lob agaisnt german keeper which was far past the line. So dont hate Lampard even if you do think Gerrard better Lampard and Gerrard are both world class players despite the world cup mess up. They both deserve to have a perminant place in the England squad, they work well together and play great football between them. There both amazing but Lampard proved by FA and BBC is a better player.

class is class stevie and frankie are not of he same class. while i know frankis is good, stevie obviously is better. stevie is a robust and utility player who has played in virtually every role on the field except goal keeping.even presently coach capello is using him on the flanks and in his maturity he will never complain. He is not just any player, he is a presence and when he’s on the field he exudes so much confidence and passion, consistent over the years, can go on and on…..

he’s got pace, power, accurate telegraphic tailor made passes (both short and long ranges), and above all he’s a team player who can carry team responsibilities single handedly and of course a specialist in raising back to life any dead game. remember istanbul.

all of these and many more has earned him the general o world football no more no less. but as for lampard he still has more to learn from the boss- STEVIE GGGGGGGG

Hilarious. So because Lampard and Gerrard both have as many goals in an England shirt they are equal? Nope. Gerrard has played on the right or behind Lampard covering his ass in a defensive position, yet still has as many goals as Fat Frank. So this clearly goes for Gerrard.

And as for clubs, Gerrard started off as a RB and then a DM. It is only in the last 4 years that he has been played in an attacking role, and guess what? He scores more goals per game than Lampard over the last 4 years too. Again, another point for Gerrard.

As for medals: Gerrard has achieved all his medals at a club with average players, Lampard one with great players. How are they equal in this respect? Gerrard has pushed on for titles and carried his team while Lampard was merely a cog in a the machine. Another point for Gerrard.

The only thing you got right was the individual accolades.

Gerrard 4 – 0 Lampard.
