Stoke’s Jese set for Las Palmas move

Premier League mid-table stalwarts Stoke have had a recent habit of taking rejected Barcelona and Real Madrid players and seemingly turning them relegation level stars, given that the Potters currently sit in 18th spot in the table.

One such player is Jese Rodriguez, a former Real Madrid winger, who could be set for a move to Las Palmas, according to the Independent. The Spaniard is currently a PSG player, though he is on loan in England, but a move back to Spain could make it easier to be with his premature son Nyan.

Jese has featured just nine times in the English top flight this season, contributing a goal and assist to Stoke’s survival fight. There is little doubt of the winger’s talent, especially given his three successful seasons at Real Madrid, and a switch to Las Palmas could be the perfect way to reinvigorate his career.
