Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni says he will be putting everything into their Coppa Italia semi-final with Roma on Wednesday.
Inter face Roma in the cup just three days after a 1-1 draw between the two sides in the Serie A and the 37-year-old insisted the competition ranks highly on his list of priorities.
“For us, every competition is important. We’ve said that right from the beginning of the season,” he told the Inter Channel.
“We’ve got to the semi-finals of the Coppa and we have no intention of snubbing it. Tomorrow we will field a team that wants to win and will do everything to get to the final.”
Stramaccioni also believes Roma will field a similarly strong team but said his side are more than capable of winning the game following Sunday’s encounter between the two sides.
“I think the Roma we will face will be the same one we faced in the league. We demonstrated on Sunday that we can do well against them,” he said.
The winners of this semi-final will play either Lazio or Juventus in the final.
