Competition: Premier League
Market: Chelsea and Liverpool to draw
Odds: 13/5 @ Bet 365

Defending champions Chelsea welcome Liverpool to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League this weekend, with under-fire manager Jose Mourinho locking horns with Jurgen Klopp for the first time in England. The Blues are in desperate need of a win in the league to turn around their poor form, while Liverpool have been dropping points too often and are losing ground on the sides in the European spots.

Chelsea are currently 15th in the Premier League table after 10 games, and are coming off the back of a defeat to West Ham United. Their form has been inconsistent through the season, but their performances on home soil have been a bit more formidable. Chelsea have won two of their last three games at Stamford Bridge, and are hoping to make Liverpool their third in four. It won’t be easy given their struggles, but the Reds haven’t been the most convincing in the Premier League.

Liverpool are 9th in the table, but have actually only won the same amount of games as their struggling opposition. The Reds have been draw specialists this season, and come into this weekend outing off the back of just one victory from seven. Despite a new manager, the chances of the Merseysiders getting a result at Stamford Bridge is slim, even with Chelsea’s failures this season, as the home side have still managed to dispatch of Arsenal in their own backyard.

It won’t be a classic clash by any means with both sides potentially setting for less, so it wouldn’t be a big surprise if Saturday’s meeting finished up as yet another draw for Liverpool.
