Striker Miguel Angel Borja scored a hat-trick as Colombia thrashed Bolivia 6-0 in the Sudamericano Under-20s competition on Wednesday.

Borja, who plays his club football for Cortulua in Colombia’s second division, opened the scoring in first-half injury time from an assist by midfielder Juan Quintero.

Midfielder Juan Nieto made it 2-0 six minutes in the second half from another Quintero assist.

Known as El Tanque, Borja completed his hat-trick in the space of four minutes shortly after.

Substitute Jhon Cordoba scored twice in the 76th and 88th minutes to complete the rout.

The win moved Colombia to second in Group A with two wins from three matches but they still trail runaway leaders Chile who have maximum points from four matches.
