Europa League holders Sevilla have enjoyed a superb start to the new La Liga season. The Spaniards are level on points with Barcelona (22) after nine games into the campaign. Unai Emery’s side have won seven and drawn one, and are now hoping to finish in a Champions League place.

Last season, Sevilla finished 5th in the table, winning the Europa League for their troubles too. They have so far managed to keep up with the early pacesetters, but they will have stiff competition for a top-four finish, with Atletico Madrid and Valencia fighting it out to finish as close to Barcelona & Real Madrid as possible.

Ladbrokes are giving odds of 23/20 for Sevilla to finish in the top-four, but over a 38-game season, slip-ups are bound to happen. They have already lost to Atletico Madrid, while drawing to Valencia, and are yet to face the giants from the league, which could see them coming unstuck.

They will be desperate to finally break into the top-four, which would be for the first time since 2010.
