AC Milan have completed the permanent signing of Spain youth international midfielder Suso from Liverpool.

Suso, 21, will join the Rossoneri after his current contract at Anfield expires at the end of the season.

The 21-year-old midfielder, who scored three goals in 33 appearances while on loan at Almeria last season, has put pen to paper on a four-year deal at the San Siro.

“Liverpool FC can confirm that midfielder Suso has today completed a permanent transfer to Italian side AC Milan,” read an official statement on liverpoolfc.com.

“The 21-year-old Spaniard departs Anfield for Serie A four-and-a-half years after joining the Reds from Cadiz CF.

“Having debuted for the club in a September 2012 Europa League tie, Suso made a total of 21 appearances.

“His first and only goal was scored earlier this season when he struck beyond Middlesbrough in front of the Kop.

“Everybody at Liverpool thanks Suso for his contribution and wishes him all the best for the future.”

Suso scored in his only competitive appearance, a 14-13 penalty shootout win over Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup, for the Reds this season.

West Ham release Vaz Te

West Ham United have terminated the contract of out-of-favour striker Ricardo Vaz Te by mutual consent.

Vaz Te, 28, has been unable to establish himself in the Hammers’ first-team in 2014/15 following the summer arrivals of Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia from Metz and Pachuca, respectively.

The 28-year-old, who joined West Ham from Barnsley in January 2012,was very appreciative for the time he spent at Upton Park, and thanked the club’s faithful for their support over the past few seasons.

“It has been a pleasure to be at a club like West Ham. It was a fantastic opportunity and I am so grateful for having played here,” Vaz Te said.

“Everything I achieved here and all my game time and my life off the pitch has been amazing.

“I will never forget that day at Wembley – it was so special for me and for all of the fans involved.

“That is the kind of moment you don’t intend to forget. I’m very fortunate to have had that moment and I’m pleased I could do that for the fans, for the club and for my team-mates.

“I would like to thank the West Ham fans and to tell them to keep supporting the club through what is going to be an exciting time over the next few years.”
