Competition: Premier League
Market: Garry Monk to be next manager to exit his post
Odds: 2/5 @ William Hill

Swansea City manager Garry Monk is under intense pressure following a poor run of form this season. The Welsh club suffered defeat on the weekend to newly-promoted Norwich City, confining them to a third defeat in four games. Swansea are now closer to the relegation zone than they are to a top-eight finish which they enjoyed last season, and the manager could be facing the axe as a result of their woes.

While some of the players have shown faith with Monk, reports are suggesting the former Swans defender is walking the tightrope. A 2-1 win away to Aston Villa in the side’s only victory in the Premier League since August. They have picked up just five points from their last eight games, which is relegation form.

Nevertheless, Monk is a popular figure around Liberty Stadium. A legend for his service as a player, and respected in the coaching world for steadying the ship and overachieving last season. But no manager is untouchable if results are spiralling, and Garry Monk finds himself 2/5 with William Hill to be the next manager exiting his post.

Bet: Swansea’s Garry Monk to be next manager to exit his post @ 2/5 with William Hill >>
