Competition: Premier League
Market: Switzerland to win against England
Odds: 6/4 @ Ladbrokes

Switzerland are the bookmakers’ favourites to see past England in their opening Euro 2016 qualifier on Monday. While the Three Lions recently won a friendly against Norway, many weren’t convinced with the performance and feel England will come unstuck on their travels.

Manager Roy Hodgson has a near full strength side to name for the competitive fixture, but Switzerland are a difficult opponent to face when they have home advantage. The Swiss national team enjoyed a good World Cup campaign, in contrast to England, reaching the last 16. England failed to make it through the group stages.

Schweizer Nati will have the talented forward Xherdan Shaqiri in attack, who will be looking to make mincemeat of the England defence as Chile forward Alexis Sanchez did when the South American’s beat England 2-0 at Wembley.

England have a good past record against Switzerland, however, with their last defeat against the Reds coming more than 30 years ago.
