Taiwo: Marseille will be champions

Taye Taiwo says Marseille will be French champions this season. The Nigerian left-back, whose two goals against Grenoble helped OM into top spot, adds that there is no way the players are willing to pass up the opportunity to become champions for the first time since 1992.

Taiwo said: “Lyon have been champions seven times and we want to take it off them this year. Marseille will be champions! We’re right up there and there’s no way we’re going to give up this position between now and the end of the season. There are some big matches left.”
