Talisca set for Premier League switch

Benfica midfielder Talisca should be moving to English Premier League in the summer transfer window, according to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo.

Despite struggling to establish himself as a first team regular at Estadio da Luz, the 22-year-old has caught the eye of top European clubs and he is set to realise a big club move.

O Jogo claims that an unnamed Premier League club, widely believed to be Liverpool, are close to wrapping up a €25 million deal for the attacking midfielder.

Talisca will require a working Visa to complete a move to England, but he has a good chance of getting the work permit as an ‘Exceptional Talent’ having played for Brazil youth sides.

The highly rated footballer has bagged no fewer than 20 goals for Benfica, scoring a great free-kick in a 2-2 draw with Bayern in the Champions League quarter-final last term.
