Terry’s fate undecided

There have been some interesting reports this morning about John Terry. These reports claimed former Chelsea captain was set to announce his retirement this summer, regardless of whether Aston Villa secure promotion to the Premier League or not.

However, Sky Sports quote their own sources in saying such reports are mere guesswork, and that the fate of Terry hasn’t been decided yet.

Steve Bruce’s team currently sit fourth in the Championship with 69 points to their name, just as many as Fulham in third, and they stand a decent chance of Premier League return this summer.

Should Terry decide to stick around next season, their potential promotion would give him an opportunity to line up at Stamford Bridge again, this time as a visitor.

Be that as it may, no negotiations have been conducted so far, and Terry’s future is far from being decided at the moment. Having left it as its champion, a return to the Premier League just might keep him in the game a while longer.
