Buriram United continued their unbeaten run as Muang Thong United maintained the pressure at the top of the Thai Premier League.

Buriram, who have dropped just eight points so far this season, secured a 2-1 win away to Suphanburi to maintain their grasp of top spot.

Anawin Jujeen opened the scoring in the 30th minute at the Suphanburi Stadium, before Jesus Berrocal Campos doubled the advantage seven minutes later.

Things got worse for the home side when Njie Devine was dismissed, but they did give their opponents a scare when Dragan Boskovic netted in the 63rd minute.

But they were unable to find the equaliser as Buriram secured their 13th win of the season.

Muang Thong earned their third straight league victory with a 2-0 win away to Army United at the Thai Army Sports Stadium.

Piyapol Bantao opened the scoring as early as the fifth minute as they went into half-time with a goal advantage.

And Siaka Dagno’s seventh goal of the season wrapped the points up in the 70th minute to leave Muang Thong on Buriram’s heels.

At the bottom of the table, Pattaya United earned a crucial three points in their showdown with Samut Songkhram at the Nong Prue Municipality stadium to leave them two points adrift of safety.

Niweat Siriwong struck in the 54th minute as Pattaya secured their first win in six games, while Songkhram now sit just one place above the relegation zone.

Fellow strugglers Ratchaburi and Chiangrai United both suffered narrow defeats. The former were undone by the odd goal in five as they fell to a 3-2 defeat at home to Osotspa, while Chiangrai lost 1-0 away to TOT.

Elsewhere, Bangkok Glass secured a 1-0 success over Songkhla United, Bangkok United drew 0-0 with Police United and Chonburi were 3-0 victors over BEC Tero Sasana.
