Muangthong United extended their lead at the top of the Thai Super League with a 2-1 win over TOT on Saturday.

The leaders put the first-half dismissal of Mario Gurovski behind them to pick up a victory that moves them four points clear of Buriram United, who have a game in hand.

Gurovski netted before being shown a straight red card and Datsakorn Thonglao was also on target, with Jun-Ki Lee pulling a goal back for TOT after 41 minutes
Elsewhere, Bangkok United dropped to 17th place after they lost 2-1 at home to Suphanburi, despite being level at half-time.
Dragan Boskovic put the visitors 1-0 up after 11 minutes before Pakasit Saensuk equalised just two minutes later.
However, a goal from Wuttichai Tathong in the 73rd minute proved to be the clincher as Suphanburi remain in fourth place.
The capital’s other team, Bangkok Glass, enjoyed a better day, moving up to ninth after a win over Pattaya United.
Goals from Supalek Gaigaew and Peerapong Pichitchotirat, either side of an Rod Dyachenko equaliser for the hosts, were enough to ensure the hosts now linger above the relegation spots.
The other game of the day was a thriller, as Chainat moved up to seventh following a 3-2 win over Ratchaburi, who drop to 11th.
Chainat took the lead through Jo Tae-Keun before Jin-Soo Cho equalised. Somjet Sattabud then notched to put his side ahead at half time.

Ratchaburi equalised again through Farid Mard-so after 51 minutes but Michael Byrne grabbed the crucial goal on 74 minutes to seal the win.
