Barcelona midfielder Thiago insists there is more to his side than Lionel Messi and believes Andres Iniesta and Xavi are at the same level.
The Argentina international has already netted 26 goals in 20 official appearances for Barca this term.
But Thiago believes Iniesta and Xavi are equally important for the Catalan powerhouse.
“Leo Messi is the best in the world, but there are others who are not so bad either,” he told the Barcelona website.
“One scores the goals and others give the final pass. I don’t see much difference between Andres, Leo and Xavi.”
Thiago spoke about Saturday’s derby between Real Madrid and Atletico and says Jose Mourinho’s team should never be written off.
“Any result between Real Madrid and Atletico can benefit us as long as we win our own match,” he said.
“It’s too soon to write off Madrid. They’re always dangerous opponents.”
