(GSM) – Luca Toni wants to leave Bayern Munich in January. The Italian hitman has lost his patience with Louis van Gaal and has seen enough. He wants to return to Italy to keep his chances of playing at the World Cup alive.
Since Van Gaal’s arrival at Bayern this summer, there were reports about the troubled relationship between the Dutch coach and Toni. “It’s been four months that I have had problems with him,” Toni explained to RAI TV.
“Enough is enough. Our rapport is almost non-existent…”
Toni fears he might loses his place in the Italy national team if he doesn’t play regularly at Bayern. He may consider to stay in Bavaria is Van Gaal is shown the door after a dismal start to the campaign. “I don’t know about that, but I wish Bayern well,” he said.
“Sure, I’d like to go back to Italy to score those goals that would bring me back into the national team. After all, I am still the striker who has netted more goals than anyone for the Azzurri.
