Torino keen on Croatia defender

Serie A outfit Torino are weighing up January bid for Dynamo Kiev defender Domagoj Vida, according to Tuttosport.

Granata stayed without both Kamil Glik and Nikola Maksimovic this summer, and even though have some decent options at the back, head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is determined to recruit a quality defender in the winter.

Tuttosport understands that Dynamo Kiev’s Domagoj Vida has emerged as a top target and he is reportedly interested in moving to Serie A.

The good news is that the player’s current deal is due to expire in December 2017, meaning the Ukrainian giants will probably be ready to entertain offers in January unless the centre-back signs a new deal.

Vida has been in very good form for club and country over the last couple of years and he is capable of operating anywhere across the back four. The 29-year-old started three games for Croatia at the Euro 2016 finals.
