Torino to make new signings

Torino President Urbano Cairo insists they will need to make new signings in the January transfer window.

Torino are struggling in the relegation zone in the Serie A, following a goalless draw with Reggina last night.

“We are in a precarious position,” said Cairo. “But this really is the moment when we need to have more courage.

“We do have the players to get out of this situation. In the next 10 days, [Rino] Foschi [Torino’s director of sport] will do everything to improve the team in the areas that require attention.

“Foschi continues to work,” he added. “We have five days to determine who comes and who goes in the market. I repeat Foschi is working and working well.”
