Liverpool ace Fernando Torres has urged team-mate Steven Gerrard not to rush back in action, following his hamstring injury.
The England ace is currently out with a hamstring injury he suffered in the FA Cup clash with Everton earlier this month and is expected to be out for a further two weeks.
“Stevie doesn’t have a substitute at Liverpool,” said Torres.
“Stevie is the lad every great side has – our leader, the one-club man.
“But I know from experience hamstring problems are risky. If you get one there’s nothing you can do but let it repair.”
Liverpool remain hopeful that Gerrard could be back for their important Champions League clash with Spanish giants Real Madrid.

gerard is truly captain fantastic. when u hear liverpool ,you remember gerard. he is the soul and heart of liverpool right now. without him the difference is clear. even torres struggles. not that liverpool cannot fxn and win matches in his absence, but they would be more confident with him. he completes them. viva la gerard. i’m always amazed by him.
