Tottenham 2/1 to win a piece of silverware this season following summer arrivals

Competition: Premier League
Market: Tottenham to win any major trophy
Odds: 2/1 @ Ladbrokes

Tottenham could shine this season, with manager Mauricio Pochettino making some good summer signings, while existing players are starting to show their potential following a poor league campaign.

The London side have a strong squad to challenge on all fronts in 2014/15, but will need some time to bed in their new arrivals. The likes of left-back Ben Davies could prove to be a masterstroke signing if he finds his feet this campaign, and Pochettino has shown what he can achieve with a talented squad – taking Southampton to a top-half finish last season.

Ladbrokes are therefore giving odds of 2/1 for Tottenham to win a major trophy this season, with the FA Cup, Capital One Cup, and potentially Europa League a winnable competition for Spurs. The last time they added to their trophy cabinet was the 2008 League Cup, but they certainly have the squad capable of claiming one piece of silverware in 2014/15.
